Extra-Curricular Clubs
We offer children a wealth of clubs and experiences.
- We offer a range of sports clubs (delivered by sport coaches) - football, tennis, badminton, basketball, rounders, cricket, archery, athletics, martial arts, and nerfs.

Extra-curricular activities boost young people's confidence to interact socially with others; extend their social networks; and provide them with new skills and abilities. Above all, they offer an important space to have fun and relax away from the pressures of academic work.

We are so passionate about the benefits of extracurricular clubs that we are offering a programme of after school clubs that are significantly discounted by the school.
Please find below the extracurricular timetable for this term. All clubs must be booked in advance, there is a maximum number of 28 spaces available, which will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. If your child misses more than two clubs in a row, their space will be given to another child on the waiting list.
Children will need to bring PE kit, appropriate footwear and a water bottle to the clubs.
All clubs will follow the timings below:
3:20pm - 4:20pm
Clubs are organised and run by Swift Sports. Children are able to sign up to a club and participate in arts and craft activities if they do not wish to join in with the sport.
Swift Sports provided club booking system has the ability to book 7-week blocks at one time, please only do this if your child intends on attending all. If your child is trying this club, please just book one week in the first instance.
Pick Up
Pick up from KS2 Green Gate (by the community hub/nursery doors) at 4.20pm.

Mondays
EYFS, Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 Club
Football and/or Arts and Crafts
- Swift Sport Provided
Football club will consist of ball mastery skills, drills and exercises focusing on all aspects of football leading to game based scenarios including, technique, tactics/strategy, positional play, defending/attacking, passing/dribbling/shooting and working as part of a team.
Arts & Crafts gives children the perfect opportunity to explore their creativity, imagination, and artistic skills in a fun and relaxed environment. Each week, children work on exciting hands-on projects using a variety of materials such as paint, paper, fabric, and natural objects.
Tuesdays
EYFS, Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 Club
Nerfs and/or Lego
- Swift Sport Provided
Nerf, being great fun - target and invasion take aim and try your skills with the Nerf with challenges and games.. Children will take part in shooting ranges and different varieties of games; capture the flag, search & destroy working as part of a team and many more games.
Lego, is the perfect place for children to explore their imagination, problem-solving skills, and creativity through hands-on building fun. Each session gives children the chance to design, build, and experiment with a huge variety of Lego pieces, from mini structures to exciting themed challenges.
Wednesdays
EYFS, Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 Club
Dance and/or Computer and Coding

Dance is a fun, energetic, and confidence-boosting space where children can express themselves through movement. Each week, children learn exciting routines inspired by a mix of styles including pop, street dance, musical theatre, and creative movement.
Computer & Coding introduces children to the exciting world of technology, problem-solving, and digital creativity. Each week, children learn the basics of coding through fun, interactive activities using child-friendly platforms designed to make programming simple and enjoyable.
Thursdays
EYFS, Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 Club
Gymnastics and/or Science and STEM
- Swift Sport Provided
Gym will give the children the opportunity to learn a wide variety of gymnastics skills using a range of equipment, consisting of balancing, jumps, floor exercises and much more.
Science & STEM is the perfect place for curious young minds to explore, experiment, and discover the world around them. Each week, children take part in fun, hands-on activities linked to science, technology, engineering, and maths. From building simple machines and testing experiments to solving puzzles and creating mini inventions, every session brings learning to life.
Enrichment Club - Last day of term
On the last day of term, school finishes at 13:20. If you would like your child to remain in school until 15:20, please sign your child up to the enrichment club (paid for by the school).
Enrichment sessions which will consist of a mixture of fun activities - Nerf Battlegrounds, Archery, Fencing, other outdoor activities, colouring / word search, indoor activities
Swift Sports Assurances:
All Swift staff have enhanced DBS checks, first aid training, safeguarding certificates and are fully insured.
For the purposes of Safeguarding this information provides is with written assurances that
Swift Sports Coaching has in place Safeguarding practices to ensure that all relevant checks are
carried out on all staff who visit schools, and who may have unsupervised access to children.
Swift Sports Coaching can confirm that the following safeguarding checks are undertaken:
- Verification of identification checks
- Employment history and reference checks
- Right to Work in the UK
- Relevant coaching qualifications and registrations checks
- An Enhanced DBS check is carried out, including checks against the DBS
- Children’s Barred List
- Photo ID has been obtained, verified and provided to the Trust/School prior to the employee’s arrival on site for the first time
- Safeguarding training is carried out and is renewed annually
- Updated checks are carried out as necessary and any new information will be immediately shared
- If a DBS shows any disclosures, authorisation must be granted by the relevant school prior to any member of staff commencing work
- Appropriate checks are carried out to ensure that individuals are not disqualified under the
- Childcare (Disqualification) Regulations 2009”.
