At Tyndale Primary, we regularly and publicly celebrate pupils who go 'above and beyond'.
We encourage pupils to ask themselves the question:
Am I giving myself "The Best Chance of Success"?
At the end of each week, all pupils are ranked on their effort. An average effort score is calculated based on Attendance, Behaviour, Home Reading and Readiness to Learn.
Pupils' initials are then put up publicly on display in our school hall within an award section, which reflects their effort that week. We base pupils' average scoring on the criteria below:
This is how we calculate pupils' score in each area. The lower the score, the better their effort.
